About Us
At Dalry Community Sports Club (DCSC), we believe in the power of people.
Since 2007, we’ve been working side by side with local residents, families, volunteers, and partners to create a stronger, healthier Dalry – because when communities come together, amazing things happen.
We’re a registered Scottish charity with a clear mission: to improve health, wellbeing and inclusion through sport, food, and social connection. From football sessions to community larders, Men’s Shed meetups to kids’ events in the park – everything we do is about communities building communities.
We currently have a temporary occupational licence for The Pavilion building within Dalry Public Park and are now actively pursuing a Community Asset Transfer / Long Term Lease of the building from North Ayrshire Council – and we’re glad to say that this is now nearing conclusion.
Securing ownership of the Pavilion will enable our organisation to have a long-term base from which to operate a range of activities within the park.
What We Do
DCSC runs a wide range of sports, leisure, and community programmes throughout the year. We’re based between the Pavilion in the park and the local community centre, and we’re proud to offer something for all ages — whether it’s getting active, finding support, or simply meeting people in a warm, welcoming space for a chat.
Some of our regular activities and initiatives include:
Weekly Parklives sessions in partnership with KA Leisure – providing free food and fun activities for local kids
Our Community Larder & Warm Space, offering essential support with dignity
Inclusive sports and social events for people with additional needs
Football for all ages and abilities
Men’s Shed and She Shed sessions to tackle isolation
Annual events like Party in the Park, Kids Sports Day, and Skirt the Skeith

Building a Healthier Future
We may have started as a sports club – but we’ve become so much more.
Over the years, Dalry Community Sports Club has grown into a vital part of community life. While we remain passionate about sport and fitness, our real focus is on people – and the many ways we can bring them together, support their wellbeing, and make a positive difference close to home.
From football pitches to food support, from warm spaces to Parklives, our work is guided by what our community needs most. Whether that’s reducing social isolation, tackling food poverty, improving physical and mental health, or creating safe spaces to connect and be active, we’re all building it together.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue developing Dalry Public Park and our Pavilion base as a year-round community hub. Projects like solar lighting, community allotments, and expanded activity programmes are already underway, helping us create more opportunities for connection, support, and shared purpose for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
Because this isn’t just about events or facilities – it’s about Communities Building Communities.
